Phan Thiet-Mui Ne beach

Binh Thuan is a coastal province, located east of Ho Chi Minh City, with some famous islands off the coast such as Lao Island (Hon Lao) at Mui Ne, Cau Island (Cu Lao Cau) and Ba Island (Hon Ba). Phan Thiet is the capital of Binh Thuan, 170 km from Ho Chi Minh City. Referring to Phan Thiet– Mui Ne, it is renowned for its resorts with wild beautiful beaches and ever named as “City of Resorts”.

Phan Thiet - Mui Ne has typical coastal climate with annual average temperature of 26°C and possesses beautiful sunshine nearly around the year, the annual average temperature is relatively lower than of all other cities in Vietnam. Phan Thiet has two main seasons: dry season (from November to April) and wet season (from May to October), rainfall here has usually low record and heavy drops in August. It sometime has infrequent typhoons happening from June to October.
From November to April is the best time for windsurfing and period from September to December is the best time for surfing. The climate is ideal for swimming, when it is warm and calm.

By Air: Foreign travelers always book flights (main carrier: Vietnam Airlines) to Ho Chi Minh City then takes tours to Phan Thiet-Mui Ne.
By Train: Visitors can take a train from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet (not popular for the travelers).
